Early Head Start Classrooms
EHS-center base model is a full daycare program that has child care slots available for parents who are working or attending a trade school or community college. This program is year-round. Child care is available for working parents who receive child care subsidy, (preference given to families who need care during the center’s hours of operation).
Our services include comprehensive child care programs, home visits, parent and child activities, health screenings, meals, opportunities to volunteer, and parent involvement activities.
Our goals in Early Head Start:
Provide safe and enriching caregiving which promotes the physical, cognitive, social and emotional development of infants and toddlers and prepares them for future growth and development.
Support parents, both mothers and fathers, in their role as primary caregivers and teachers of their own children.
Work with families in meeting their own goals and achieve self-sufficiency.
Ensure high quality responsive services to families through the development of trained, and caring staff.
